Ladakh Itinerary:




21st June Reach Leh.
And get acclimatized at Leh. Photography orientation and tour details discussed. we start a session on Photography , apperture / shutter speed/ iso and get to knwo your camera

22nd June Day at Leh.
Acclimatization and Local site seeing, Buddha monastery and Gompha at Leh along with photo session and feedback about your work. We will talk about composition adn visual language.

23rd June Hemis Festival.
Visit Hemis from Leh, spend the day photographing at Hemis, feedback on your work.

24th June Hemis Festival.
Visit Hemis from Leh, spend the day photographing at Hemis, feedback on your work.

25th June Leh To Pangong
Travel to Pangong Lake, via Chang La day spend photographing the high passes and experience how to make images in the cold.

26th June Travel back to Leh
Morning photo session at Pangong Lake and we travel back to Leh. The morning lake colors are amazing and is a breathtaking site to see the sun come up over the lake.

27th June Travel to Nubra Valley.
We reach Nubra valley by afternoon via mighty KardungLa, after that we explore Hunder Sand dunes and Photo session there.

28th June Day at Nubra Valley.
We spend day at Nubra valley exploring Diskit Monastery and local market. Shoot the locals and do portrait study out there, we will also be interviewing the participants for a short film.

29th June Back to Leh.
Fly back to your base with loads of memories and your memory cards full of photos.





The program schedule / route/ mode of transport might be changed due to unforeseen circumstances or for the safety of the group; During the tour the decision of the Program Director and/ or the Field director will be final & binding in this regard.


In case any participant falls sick during the tour, the expenses for medical treatment, travel & porter charges etc. will be borne by the concerned individual.

The Program Director shall not be held responsible for any accident, illness and loss of valuables or such other unforeseen events during the tour.


The cost will buy you

Breakfast and Dinner

Accommodation on twin sharing basis

Tents will be Swiss Camps with attached western wash rooms & hotel accommodation will be neat and tidy rooms with clean wash rooms.

All meals in the hotel where we stay or at eating joints on the way.

Inner line permits to restricted / protected areas for Indian nationals.

Basic first Aid Kit. It’s advised that one should bring his/her own medicines which are known and suitable to him.

Oxygen cans.

packaged drinking water, soft drinks, snacks.

Insurance, tips to guides, Laundry, oxygen, telephone calls.



Inner line permits to restricted / protected areas for Foreign nationals.

No Air tickets

Any personal air / bus / taxi / jeep fare

Any kind of personal expenditure like such as tips, extra meals, alcohol, mineral water, laundry, optional tours, medical expenses, phone calls, entrance fees to monuments/forts/monasteries, camera fees, guide fees etc.

Any kind of personal, accidental or medical insurance or any medical expenses.

In case on any natural calamity, landslides, road blockages if, the tour is extended or we have to change the itinerary then any extra cost which occurs beyond our control will be on client’s side.

It’s an adventure ride full of challenges and unpredictable weather conditions. Some areas are also political tensed so because of any such natural or human made calamity if, the tour is extended / diverted or terminated before the ending date then in such case MEIN FERNWEH will not be responsible for it.

Tour excludes all such things, which are not mentioned above in our format.

Climatic conditions in the high altitudes are different take's time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.

Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.

Do Carry basic medications and your own first-aid kit during the tour.

Use of vehicles for personal use will be charged EXTRA.

Power breakage and warm water will not be available 24 hours, please be prepared for the same.

Some things to know :

There is a possibility that you might suffer from Altitude sickness or Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). One should be weary of the following symptoms.

Lack of apetite

Nausea or vomiting

fatigue

Dizziness

swelling of hand feet and face

Shortness of breath

Nosebleed

Thus you are requested to ask your doctor and carry medications for yourself.
